Grand Avenue Primary and Nursery School offers a 52 place nursery run by qualified and experienced staff that foster the children’s interests, needs and stages of development and offer exciting activities which extend, enrich and develop potential both inside and outside the classroom.

We have both 15 hours and 30 hours nursery places available to children aged 3 – 4 years.

Our sessions run as follows:

15 Hour Provision

The Nursery session runs from Monday to Friday with 15 hours places offered as a morning slot from 8.30am – 11.30am or an afternoon slot from 12.30pm – 3.30pm.

30 Hour Nursery Provision

The Nursery offers 30 hour places operating from 9.30am – 3.30pm. Children who access 30 hours provision can also book an Early Start which starts at 8.30am.

If you do not qualify for 30 hours provision you may pay for an extended session which is charged at £24 per day (ie. £8.00 per hour for a 3 hour session).

Early Start

The Early Start, provides an opportunity for the 30 hour nursery children to start their day an hour earlier, at 8.30am.  An Early Start is charged at £6 per session.
